No Notifications Despite Drift

ProblemI have drift detection on and I created a drift on my stack multiple times. Each time there were no notifications, despite docs saying that a notification would appear in the notifications tab of the stack. Also I added a slack notification policy for drift detection and I am thinking that because I am not getting notified in spacelift when a drift is detected, the notification policy does not get triggered.
